Overall this compression sack is awesome. It takes my Marmot Echo Lake 20 degree bag and compresses it down much more (at least 3-5 inches) more than I could with the sack it came in. The only reason I didn't give this a 5/5 was because I have a feeling that the plastic cinch straps on the side could break after extended periods of use after multiple tightenings, but that hasn't happened yet.

i ordered this bag for the alps echo lake sleeping bag. the sleeping bag is pretty bulky, so this does help. i am not sure how well this is supposed to compress other things, but i am sure it will do fine. the price was good as well.

they may be a little heave for you ultralight backpackers, but I'm a sissy and want to be comfortable with my heavy warm sleeping bags and clothes. they compress my stuff down very small!
