These socks are very well made. Thick and warm without being too hot. I don't know if these vary in size much (being 2nds), but the pair I bought was much, much larger than expected. I bought them in XS for my toddler who wears a size 6 and they're way too large. But they fit my preschooler who wear... Read More

I ordered the XS for my son who wears a toddler shoe size 7. They are a touch large but shrunk a little after drying. No blisters and No complaining! They are the usual smartwool quality and have a nice loop weave on the inside around the foot.

  • Question “What size shoe would a "large" smartwool kids sock fit?”

Asked on 10/29/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer one of my kids wears a kids size 4 and the large fits her fine. I tried them on myself (I wear a womens 6.5 and can fit some kids size 5 shoes) and they seemed a bit small. My other daughter who wears a kids size 1 can also fit the smartwool large socks without the socks being too big.
