I've been wearing Thorlos for many years and they still make a great product. I love the light hikers for all but the hottest part of the year. I wear a 12 shoe and the XLs feel just about right. The Ls are alright a wee bit snugger. My hiking favorites.

I've worn Thor-Lon CooMax for years. California's central Valley is very hot in the summer and thewe socks help keep my feet cool and wick away the mostier.

    These are well-padded and comfortable.
No idea on longevity, but for now I rate them top-notch.

I have been wearing the Thorlo Thor-Lon CoolMax socks in place of the cotton socks I typically wear with my casual shoes and work boots...what a difference! The socks are very comfortable and my feet felt great after being on them for 9 hours pouring/working concrete. The weather is mild this time of year so am not sure if these socks will be too warm when the temperature starts to climb.

My wife liked the look/feel, so I ordered her several pair as well.

Bought this brand before, and the quality is there as always. Blemishes!, I'm walking trails and river/creek/lake banks not a fashion runway.

  • Question “how much does each pair weigh?”
Asked on 3/27/2014 9:00:49 PM by ownee from virginia
    • Answer I would consider these mid- weight socks. I actually like them lots! They are light enough and prevent sweating in my work boots yet they are tough. they are also padded enough to prevent fatigue but are not bulky to force you to upsize shoes.
