They are little longer then I prefer, but I can work with that and would highly recommend them. I purchased seven different colors and will use them for every day casual wear.

Answer They are 2nds. 2nds are items with barely perceptible blemishes or slight irregularities that do not affect fit, performance or longevity such as an error in the stitching or a slight fading of the product’s color. Labels on 2nds are usually clipped or marked by the manufacturer, and 2nds are often offered at lower prices.

Question “My preference for a t shirt is to have a substantial cotton that you can't see much light through. I use them for everyday outerwear in 80 degree Florida weather, not as a base layer. In the past, I have found Hanes to be durable but quite light weight - more suitable for a base layer in climates where that is needed. Is this t-shirt also what one would label as "light weight" or does the cotton have a "sturdy" feel to it?”

Answer Yes, I would say it's one of the heavier t'shirts. Thats one of the reasons I like so much about these tshirts. And they last!

Answer washed my white hanes beefy T in my washing machine with warm wash setting and fabric softener and I haven't noticed any shrinkage. Can't answer what would happen if it was put in the dryer though, as I normally hang my washing.

Answer The white ones didn't. I suspect they won't even shrink in the dryer. But they're cheap enough that you may want to buy more than what you need and use one as a test case.

Answer Zero shrinkage with cotton is pretty rare, however... these don't shrink much. I think they must be prewashed or something. We've had very good luck with them washing well. My husband wears XL and even after zillions of washings, these fit him just fine. Hope this helps.

Answer No, they are barely visible blemishes, such as a different stitch, backwards tag or something else that you generally don't even know is there.

Answer Some of the colors have tags (two in fact) and some of the other colors had no tags. The colors with two tags have an easily removable sizing white tag and then the Hanes Brand tag (a bit trickier to remove without leaving a bit of fringing)but doable. Don't let it stop you from buying these quality t-shirts.
