Terramar Boxer Briefs, Body Sensor, Four-Way Stretch: Best underwear I've ever owned, wear it everywhere, sports, gym, office, to bed, even river rafting. Bought my first pairs YEARS ago and the originals are still wearing strong, and I REALLY put them through a lot! I now own at LEAST 20 pair (a... Read More

Good product, fabric doesn't feel like the original of this boxer brief. Seems mildly hotter than original, too.

An "ill-fitting" garment that appear to be factory seconds (but not advertised as such), or maybe just very bad sizing. Sierra Trading should be a little more discerning in what it sells; I'd return both pair, but the cost to return is more than 1/2 of what I paid. This is one reason why ***zon is a MUCH better site: Free, no-hassle returns.

Very comfortable. Roomy, breathable, great fit. Excellent for everyday and workouts at the gym. I like the slightly longer length. I bought one pair then wore and washed. Quickly ordered 3 more.

great fit to my slim bod. a fly that actually works; this should save the waist band from the "over the top'" stretch out. great for cool weather.

  • Question “Do these briefs for like compression shorts? Are they right in the crotch or pretty loose? ”

Asked on 6/25/2016 8:39:07 PM by Scott from New mexico
    • Answer I find them comfortable and do not think they find. They are the only shorts I use now dumped everything else.
Answered on 6/25/2016 9:04:32 PM by Len from NC
    • Answer Fairly snug in the crotch.
Answered on 6/25/2016 10:25:14 PM by JPMc from TX
    • Answer Loose boxer briefs!
Answered on 6/25/2016 10:53:42 PM by Rongo from Hurst
    • Answer I do not really know. I gave these shorts as a gift. I would assume that they are comfortable, but may provide some support.
Answered on 6/26/2016 12:02:09 PM by Steve from CT.
    • Answer Seams go across the middle of the buttocks diagonally and then turn to go along the middle inside of each thigh. This is the most comfortable underwear I've ever found.
Answered on 6/9/2016 6:17:34 PM by JPMc from Texas
    • Answer Seams in the back come across the butt cheeks. Your question made me realize I hadn't even thought about or noticed the seams. Had to go in and actually look.

    • Answer I do not know. I gave as a gift without opening the package, but I would assume no seams except at the waist.
Answered on 6/10/2016 5:53:54 AM by Steve from CT.
    • Answer There are matching seams running up the back.
Answered on 6/11/2016 10:49:15 AM by Rongo from Texas
    • Answer There are seams up the left and right side. If you click on the second image you can view the seams.

  • Question “have any women tried these? ”

Asked on 4/26/2016 4:40:46 PM by JR from NY
    • Answer I do not know any women who have. They should work. What's the difference. Getting the correct size is the most important factor. You could wear them backwards (just kidding). They are a good value at S.T.P.

  • Question “How much does this brief (any size is ok) weigh?”

Asked on 6/10/2015 7:21:55 AM by Singto from Ohio
    • Answer Not sure of the exact weight but it's fairly light...the elastic waist band and extra material of the boxer style do add weight making them heavier than a brief style version. They are lighter than a comparably style all-cotton boxer.
Answered on 6/10/2015 8:19:05 AM by Hiker Biker from Michigan
    • Answer I don't know the exact weight, but they are extremely light and have great wicking properties. For years I have worn these for everyday, running, hiking, cross-training, etc.

    • Answer Next to nothing. We have a weight restriction on a trip to Africa later this year and I am sure 6 pair won't even get close to a pound. Best underwear I ever owned and am getting rid on any others,
Answered on 6/10/2015 11:23:09 AM by Len from North Carolina
    • Answer I don't know exactly, but certainly less than their cotton equivalents! And they're more comfortable. I can't imagine why weight would be an issue with these.
Answered on 6/10/2015 2:01:50 PM by John the Hacker from Denver, CO
    • Answer Thanks for your replies but I'm looking for grams or ounces.

John the Angler from Denver.......imagine carrying a backpack containing your clothes, necessities and equipment along with consumables (resupplying every week or so) for over 2,000 miles. The lighter your pack weight, the more enjoyment and higher probability of a successful hike. If I can buy appropriate underwear weighing 2 ounces less, then the two I carry in my pack saves me 1/4 pound. I do that with 4 small items and I save 1 POUND. EVERY ounce matters and in fact, there are people who count grams.

So, if anyone can place a pair of these on an appropriate weight scale and publish their finding, it would be greatly appreciated.
      Thank you.

    • Answer A pair of these wonderful briefs weigh about as much as 2 Clif Bars, 1/2 as much as a Jockey V-neck tshirt, or the same as 2 standard size cotton bandanas. One thing is for sure, they are worth the weight, and all that weight is carried mainly by my hips!

  • Question “I am a 35 waist, do these run small or large? What size do you recommend?”

Asked on 8/5/2014 2:46:45 PM by M.Hiker from New York
    • Answer I'm a 36 and they fit perfectly. It's an elastic waistband so they're bound to adjust to your svelte waist. A large should fit just fine.

The beauty is if you find they don't fit well, you can send them back. STP then grants you a credit, free shipping back AND free shipping on your next order! Not a bad deal if they don't fit.

      Hope this helps.

    • Answer I am a 35 waist as well, and these fit just right, but roomy. If you are a 34/35 order a size smaller, but if you are a 35/36 these will be fine.

    • Answer Hi, I got these boxer briefs last year and enjoyed wearing them so much I got more. I wear a 42 waist and ordered an XL size which fit fine.
I would think the LARGE size would work for you perhaps.
      Good luck.
Answered on 8/6/2014 2:41:23 PM by Bryan from Minnesota
    • Answer They run true to size. I wear large and I have currently a 34 inch waist, but when I was wearing 36 pants, I also bought the size large and they were equally comfortable.
