I have problem feet (neuromas, arthritis, bunions) thanks to years of high heels so am always looking for comfortable shoes with a bit of pizzazz. These were great right out of the box! They are pretty wide (I wouldn't recommend them if your feet are very narrow) but the laces run the full length o...

Bought a size 6, which fits very nicely (I normally wear a 5.5 or 6). I like the burgundy orange color combination, and the square toes. Spouse said they looked clunky. I disagree! Took a two hour hike in them and found them comfortable the first time I wore them. I did not need to break them in. But the sole is not rugged enough for the shoes to be regular hiking shoes. That's a pity.

I needed walking shoes that had some support but also had an element of cuteness - these were perfect.
I got the black with the blue laces and frankly - they were funky adorable. I wore them to Seattle and got tons of complements and, they took me through the streets of Alaska beautifully. Cute enough to wear with black pants to dinner but again, with enough support I could take good long walks. Not Mephitso support but, pretty darn good.
Do go up the half size as they suggest - I wear a 5 and a half B, with my foot edging towards narrow and the 6 medium fit well. (For reference, New Balance and Keds tend to fit me well.)

These are my go-to, all around best shoes. I just looked in my order history, I got mine in 2009. It's 2014 and they look like new. I can feel some wear in the shoe integrity, but nothing noticeable. They still support me in long teaching days on my feet (although I do like to wear othotics in them.) They keep me warm in icy weather and dry in the rain. (I teach in a mobile classroom unit and need sturdy shoes as we are in the elements a great deal.) They are funky looking and fun with jeans, but work fine with good dress khakis and cotton pants. I have the wine color. They are a little like a tennis shoe, but look a little dressier for work. I hope to be able to find a replacement pair when I need them. Get them for yourself if you can grab a pair in your size!

Have multiple foot injuries so need various adjustments in several parts of the foot. The Jasper is great in this respect because the lacing starts close to the front all the way up.The only reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is that the shoe could be lighter(weight).
