Not only are they lined in cushy sheepskin — a fiber that's cooling in warm temperatures, and cozy when it's cold — they also have a memory foam midsole that molds to your foot's exact shape for custom comfort.

The most prevailing thing is the hard soles, acorn not only dropped the ball, but they dribbled it down the court on this one. They might as well be made of wood with regard to flexibility, and the sound they make on a hardwood floor. Don't even think of getting a 2am snak or using the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking up the whole house.. also some flexibility is useful for walking comfort. The sheepskin itself is good and comfy, as is the memory foam. the color is good. I would be good if they looked a little less like uggs, and more masculine. Size wis, I wear a 9.5, and ordered a 10. they re a bit big, I don't know weather or not a 9 would have been better. for a slipper that retails for $100, I'd expect better. Al

    • Answer No, on my pair the fluffy ankle warmer is stitched down.
Answered on 1/31/2011 12:00:00 AM by Edfest from Orlando Fl
    • Answer No, the fleece is stitched down on each side at the front and at the heel. I was disappointed at first to discover this but they are so warm I really haven't noticed. In WY you couldn't do this but I don't use my furnace to heat the house. Only a personal heater in the bedroom. The rest of the home including my den varies from 44 to 55 depending on the outside temperature. It is 55 now and I have been at the computer with the slippers on for over an hour and my feet are toasty.

    • Answer No, it is tacked down, but they do come up to above the ankle bone.
Answered on 3/9/2011 12:00:00 AM by Liz from Northern Connecticut
    • Answer No, the fluffy white part is loosely but solidly sewn down. If you cut the sewing (which i imagine wouldn't be too hard), you probably could fold the fluffy part up.
Answered on 5/31/2011 12:00:00 AM by Sylvia from OR
    • Answer No, not by design. I think they are stiched down - which you might be able to unstich, but I don't think they're meant to flip up.

    • Answer The fuzzy white part might actually be the fuzzy brown part, or some other color depending on the color of the slipper. The sheepskin is folded down to form a "collar". Yes; it can be flipped up over the ankles and that feels great on cold drafty days.

    • Answer no they do not
Answered on 4/24/2012 12:00:00 AM by kat from Alabama
    • Answer They do, but they don't stay up on their own. You could add a small velcro strap to the ends of the cuff tabs and snug them to your ankle that way. Just an idea...

Answered on 1/4/2010 12:00:00 AM by Girlfriend from nh
    • Answer In my experience, sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, so a 10 in one brand is not necessarily the same size as a 10 in another brand. While I don't know if slippers are typically even more different from shoes as shoes are from each other, I know that slipper sizes are more forgiving than shoe sizes. I think you can get away with a too large slipper but not so much with a too large shoe. Plus, slippers seem to stretch a little more over time than shoes.
