These stay on them so well, they can run and play easily. My niece has a hard time wearing them as the high arch support hurts her feet. My kids don't have that problem. They are also super cute. We are excited to hike in them this summer. Also great in the river and wading, they stay put.

I over pronate and subsequently have knee, hip and foot problems. I have searched for a sandal that can be worn without orthotics and these are the only ones I have found that have worked for me. Reviewed by Mariposa from Tucson, AZ on Friday, October 19, 2012I normally wear a size 8 in women's shoes and when I saw how inexpensive the child size Chacos were, I decided to take a chance. Using their fitting guide, I determined a size 6 ought to be just right, and it is! I love how easy it is to adjust the straps and they're comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have another pair with the toe loop, and find that without the toe loop my foot does tend to slide forward a bit while walking, but it's not uncomfortable, nor do I feel like i will slide off the sole. I LOVE the cushion in the sole, too! My other pair is much stiffer. Now I have two pairs of Chaco's and can highly recommend them to everyone!

Answer All you need to do is pull on the strap where it meets the arch of her foot and it should adjust! Pull hard! You might want to have here wear them around to loosen up the straps.
