I bought two for my daughter-in-laws and 2 in the male version for my sons. Other than being a little tight in the crotch for my sons, they LOVED them. They said it really kept their bodies warm when kayaking.

After reading several reviews of the product, I decided to call STP and ask what size the company thought I should order. I'm a fairly small person, but I have a bust and needed help with sizing. Because the product runs small I ordered a small instead of an x-small and it fits well. A bit of gyrations to get it on, but could do it by myself. The neck IS tight, but I figure the better to keep me warmer, and it does loosen some when wet. The suit is a bit long for me, but most people won't have that problem. I did need a little help removing it, but I think I could have finally done it myself.

I planned to use this shorty for paddleboarding (cooler waters but not cold). Either way, I am 5'11" with an athletic build and the body of this ran short. It seemed to fit well in every other way and the quality seemed pretty good for the price.

I have grown up on the lake and love boating and doing water sports, but as I get older I'm not always willing to get cold anymore. I live in Cody Wyoming and we can have some chilling summers and short ones too! This summer I wore my sister in laws and was SPOILED! I was amazed at how much I liked this suit! It kept me warm and I was out on the lake from sun up to sun down! I knew I had to get my own! The suits do run small, so you may want to order up. I'm 155lb and 5'2" and ordered a large. Kinda tight around the neck area at first, but once they get wet they loosen up. It's a nice slimming fit for women. Easy to move in. And I can easily get it on and off myself! I can't wait for next summer!

I wanted to keep working out in my backyard pool, but the water was getting too cold. This wet suit is the perfect solution to lengthen my season by a month, or longer, in both fall and spring.

  • Question “I am 5'2" and 140 lbs. Looking for a suit I can wear in our pool. Right now the water temp is 76 degrees.”
Asked on 9/7/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
  • Question “I have previously bought a shorty wetsuit by O'Neill from you; I am thinking of buying either a shorty or a full wetsuit by Camaro, but am unsure about the size chart. I am a woman, 5'6", 110 lbs; I wear a rashguard shirt and rashguard tights underneath the shorty when swimming. Which size Camaro suit would you recommend? And do the numbers, such as 35 or 38 refer to chest size? I would be a 32 b bra size. Thanks.”
Asked on 3/12/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer I would recommend ordering up or measuring with your rashguard on. If the size does not change then order the size the size chart recommends. The sizes are Austrian as stated on the size chart.
