Wool is a nice change from the "waterproof" stuff, which leaves my hands feeling clammy. In 35-40 degree weather, these keep my hands fairly warm (I haven't used them in sub-35 degrees but I imagine they'll let in too much cold air).
Only real complaint I have with them is that they are a bit thick for "light" gloves.
