    I bought these socks for a 700 mile hike on the AT this spring but doubt I'll use them. I have other Smartwool socks that I love but they are no show socks that are too short for hiking, bought these assuming they would be very similar but they have very little cushion, okay for daily use but not long didtance hiking. They are much thinner and more abrasive to the feet than my other socks.
