About Austin Reed Black Label Jacket - Ornate Weave (For Women)

Closeouts. Austin Reed Black Label goes to great lengths to find the most splendid fabrics for sophisticated creations like this softly structured Ornate Weave jacket. This is a really beautiful jacket. The material is gorgeous, and the design is very good looking and stylish. I bough it for my wife, and she loves it, says it goes really well with gray or black pants or skirt. A great buy from a fine maker.

Interesting fabric, possibly prone to easy snagging. This jacket has large, industrial-type snaps which kind of ruin the dress-up effect. Also, the empire waist is exaggerated to the point of making this similar to maternity wear.

For all of its good points I still had to send it back. The material is really lovely. Looks and feels like an expensive jacket. But on me, a short person (5'2") it looked awful. Wanted it because of the neutral color and style that would be adaptable for dress up or jeans. Recommending it for people with some height as the cut is not for a petite. You can get a lot of use out of this jacket.

Was very excited about this jacket but extremely disappointed. The cut could not flatter anyone; it was like a sack. Collar did not stand up, and there was an odd slight gathered section that made the jacket look wrinkled.
