Best quality and by this I mean the hems, pockets, waist is sown throughly together, pockets are double layer. The belt is quality and stays closed. I bought four pair and my get another couple of pair before stock is gone. Sierra has the best prices, best customer service I used online.

These are just what I was looking for. I use them for working out (outdoor circuit training -- basketball-type shorts work fine for running on hamster wheels at gym chains) and hiking. I wanted something with elastic or an integrated belt, that wasn't too long or baggy, which is difficult at 5' 7" and 135lbs. I highly recommend.

Not knee length, (inseam on large is 8 1/2 ", but gusseted crotch starts a little lower than a standard one, overall length at side seam from waist to bottom hem is 19 1/2 ")..
