Bought these last year for my daughter and she wore them ragged, so this year I bought another pair. The reason I have 4 stars is that the back strap stretches out after a while and would always slip off her heel. It wasn't enough of a problem to not purchase a second pair, obviously. :)

The sizes run about a full size too small. The strap stretches out too quickly, making it fall down a lot. But other than that, my daughter seems to really like them and thinks that they are comfortable.

8 in these feels about half a size smaller than 8 in Stride Rite. If in doubt, I'd go up a size.

They are real toddler sizes. I bought a 5/6 for my two year old granddaughter. They were a little too tight on the top, so I got a 7 instead. She has chubby feet though, so don't take that as running small or anything. My 2 1/2 year old grandson wears a 7 in Teva flip-flops.
