This is a great belt, sturdy, light weight, and great for travel or just every day wear.
I like this belt for air travel. There is no metal, so you do not have to remove it when going thru metal detectors. A nice convenience.

Bought for a girl, the pattern shd work. Talk about well constructed! Belt appears very sturdy yet it's flexible. I thought the Large I bought would be too long but someone tried it on for me and proved the length is just right.

I love Bison Design belts. They have a wide variety of patterns, they are durable and a fun accessory for my boring solid polo shirt/khaki pant work attire.

These belts are great for shorts and casual pants. Once it is on it stays put and you can adjust it to exactly the size you need.

I have received numerous comments on how cool my bear/wolf/elk belt from this company. The only down side is it constantly needs tightening. Not too big a deal but a tad inconvenient.

Belt stays closed, doesn't slip. It's about 1 inch wide and perfectly lightweight. Looks good for a fabric belt.

    • Answer First click on your size, then the design you want -- the ones unavailable will be blanked out. To be sure, add to your cart, if it is available, then it'll let you do that, otherwise it won't.

It appears that a lot of colors and designs are available. Yes, this is an awesome belt...pick a color, maybe two, and buy it! Go crazy with your dress and have a super day!

    • Answer My experience with STP has been that when you choose your size, the available colors/ designs remain in color, and unavailable ones are greyed out or NOT AVAILABLE. Bison makes great belts! Between me and my husband, we have quite a collection!

Asked on 6/12/2011 12:00:00 AM by Looking for Belts from Unknown
    • Answer They aren't that bulky, it's a thin belt overall in my opinion.

Answered on 11/5/2011 12:00:00 AM by Juli of the Winds from Wind River Range, Wyoming
    • Answer The size is the actual size of the belt. When you order a belt, you should order two sizes up and that will fit your size.
Answered on 2/10/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Bison Designs site indicates the sizes are an "up to X inches" size. So, up to a 38" waist or up to a 42" waist. If in doubt, consider going up to the larger size. You may end up with more of a webbing tail, but that can be tucked away.
Answered on 2/15/2010 12:00:00 AM by Seamus from Ohio
    • Answer It's the waist size the belt will fit. I trimmed about 3" off both of mine (both size 38) and they're still about 41" long, so that after cinching them up on my size 34 waist I still have several inches of "tail" or whatever the end is called. Sharp scissors and a lighter/match/candle will do the trick.

    • Answer The size doesn't really matter, you will cut the end off to make it fit. Order extra large.

    • Answer The size medium I ordered is approximately 44 1/2 inches long.

    • Answer No it's much bigger. It's a medium and measures at least 42". I cut mine down and burned the edge for a clean finish. My husband wears it too.
Answered on 8/2/2010 12:00:00 AM by sushibarb from Loveland, Colorado
    • Answer The size medium belt that I bought was 44 inches long (not the advertised 38 inches). It is easy enough to cut down to size, then melt the end with a match to keep it from fraying.
Answered on 8/11/2010 12:00:00 AM by Ken from San Francisco, CA
    • Answer Although the length was not verified with a tape measure, the size given seems to be the length of the belt. "M38" implies a medium belt of 38 inches length.
