The inseam is designed totally incorrectly. It feels as if the inseam area extending to the back of the waistband is much tighter and shorter, so when you bend even slightly at the waist, or sit down, it yanks the front part of the inseam, squishing your "junk". I bought this in Feb 2013, so perhaps they changed the factory they produce these in, as it seems a lot of the older reviews are positive, whereas the newer reviews have similar complaints to mine.

Answer
it does have seams which come down vertically across the buttocks. they are flat, and even though I was wearing them, had to double check.

Answer
If you look at the photo of the grey model, you can see the seams running vertically. THey are the same on the reverse side plus there is a horizonal seam and it is just under 3" from the bottom if you lay the piece flat on a table.

“Does the waistband stretch after several washings?”

Answer
These will have a similar fit to item # 15641.

Answer
They fit the same (i.e. a medium is still a medium). The differences are these: 1) it's made from fabric that isn't as stretchy. 2) the leg part is cut slightly higher. 3) the waistband is cut lower. This last change is the best, since in the "15641" version the waistband goes up to your bellybutton.

Answer
I bought both and find the fit of 15641 much better. Would have bought two of 15641 over one of each.
