Duck work pants were more substantial than expected -- heavy material. Opted to exchange for the lighter-weight Carhartt Work Jeans. But if you need serious durability, these ducks could fit the, um, bill!

I didn't have any doubts seeing they are Carhartt, but STP delivered a great product at a great price just in time for Father's Day. The sizing is true, the color is really nice, and my 6'7" hubby loves them!

  • Question “How wide is the pant leg at the bottom?”

Answered on 6/4/2014 4:35:24 AM by Gary from San Francisco
    • Answer Hi,
I measured two pants this morning. Both have been washed numerous times, and I measured the very bottom of the leg (where they taper very slightly).
One was 19 inches (circumference - measured 9.5 inches on one side and doubled), and the other 18 3/4.

      Hope this helps,
      Christine

    • Answer I buy my size and the waist fits fine. I don't make any adjustment for them being washed. I've had at least half a dozen of the washed duck pants.

    • Answer Those are my measurements too, and that's the size I buy, and the pants always fit fine. I usually wash them first, so I can't say how they feel and fit prior to washing, but beyond that I haven't noticed any shrinkage, to speak of. I think they must run pretty true to size.
