These are my 2nd pair of these to buy. Before you buy, you must know, like Levi's 501 Shrink to Fit, they will draw up about a 1/2 inch in the waist, and between an inch and an inch and a half in the length...BUY THEM A SMIDGE TOO BIG for optimum fit...

I have been wearing Carhartt products for years, tried others and can honestly say that I would not buy any other product. These jeans last forever.

Fit is true. Wearability is long term and these are being used in construction. Fully recommend.

Ordered 2 pairs for my son. They arrived as promised. Were in great shape. Very pleased!

My son is very difficult to buy clothes for, esp. pants or jeans. These are one of the few jeans he likes and will wear regularly! The jeans are durable, fit well and as described and don't fade with washing. I would recommend not over drying.

You Can't beat the price on these work jeans. I converted to the Carhart once I found them on STP. They say they are seconds but every pair I have ordered has worked out great. I love them and they hold up great. Don't wear anything else for work.

  • Question “Do these jeans fit liose or regular fit?”
Asked on 6/20/2015 5:06:43 PM by Jon B from Texas
    • Answer They are loose fitting. The slimmer style similar to these, but without the double knee, are B324. Also, keep in mind that the B324 is lighter weight fabric, good warm weather work pants
Answered on 6/20/2015 5:46:13 PM by Crow from Iowa
    • Answer I would say loose in the legs, regular in the waist, hips, butt.
Answered on 6/20/2015 5:54:56 PM by Amy from Seattle
    • Answer Regular fit
Answered on 6/20/2015 7:42:58 PM by RP from Boise
    • Answer My husband is 6 ft. And 180lbs. These pants fit comfortably in the seat and waist and are loose enough in the legs to be comfortable working all day on trucks, tractors and running the wrecker. He does not wear any other pants. We can see nothing wrong with the 2nds. A very good buy.
Answered on 6/20/2015 8:47:57 PM by Gibbons from Montana
    • Answer I would call them a working fit. Bend stoop crawl, they fit like military pants able to get the job done and still last years.
Answered on 6/21/2015 6:11:49 AM by Big Jer from Directly over the center of the earth.
    • Answer Regular fit through waist, hips and rise. Thighs and legs are looser fit - not bad - room to move. Fabric is sturdy - not wearing them now because would be way too hot - will be good for winter. Washed twice in hot and dried hot to try to 'loosen' up the fabric - better after that. There was some shrinkage - still fit good - length lost about 1-2" but that's not a bad thing because the ones that I received were very long. I normally wear a 30"-31" length - I ordered a 32 (thought steel toed boots would make them too short if I ordered regular length) and still had to cut off three inches even after washing. Stick to your regular length.

they fit lose as my husband wears them over top another pair of jeans.

    • Answer The way that they fit me is a bit loose. They aren't baggy by any means. I actually bought them originally for riding my Harley. The double knees help when rocks fly up from other vehicles.

    • Answer These are straight leg, heavy duty but also good air flow from the bottom of the pants. Haven't felt overly hot compared to other pants while working outdoors in the summer here in Arizona.
Answered on 10/1/2014 11:48:19 PM by Kimball from Mesa, AZ
    • Answer Per the actual Carhartt tag (it was still in my recycling bin), these are "original fit" and are described as "straight leg." Wearing them, they are definitely not a tapered leg - plenty of room to fit over a pair of work boots.

    • Answer Strait leg.

  • Question “My waist is 78 cm, and which size should I choose?”
Asked on 9/10/2014 8:30:36 AM by lea from HK
    • Answer If I do my math correctly that converts into 31 inches. Because Carharrt runs smaller than most jeans I would recommend getting a size 32.
Answered on 9/10/2014 8:49:22 AM by Dan G. from Northern New Mexico
    • Answer You should be good with a 32" waist.
Answered on 9/10/2014 8:53:23 AM by Kimball from Mesa, AZ
    • Answer I would say you would fit in the 32 or 34 waist size. Think in terms of inches. 30 cm is roughly 12 inches. And if the pants are too big, a belt is an option as well as sending the pants in for the correct size.
Answered on 9/10/2014 8:55:51 AM by cscritchfield from California
    • Answer I prefer a size larger than what I actually am. This allows for shrinkage and comfortable fit. I prefer to hang the pants up to dry the - this takes longer but saves energy. So it's good to have several pairs of the same pants - it actually saves money on shipping and less electric for the dryer.
I get six pair at a time !

    • Answer Carhartt Jeans are a tad darker than the picture. Almost an Orange / Brown. And they do not fade after the 1st wash... I have 1 pair that I've had for 10 years and they're faded... but not a lot!
Answered on 6/15/2014 7:33:15 AM by Southern Winds Lawn Care from Rapidan, VA
    • Answer Yes they are as shown, the normal carhartt brown. They fade a tad more after they get washed a few times too..
Answered on 6/15/2014 3:01:37 PM by JaeDec02 from Port Townsend
    • Answer The Carharrt brown is the same color I've had for the last 20 years of wearing their jeans.
Answered on 6/16/2014 6:35:18 AM by Dan G. from Northern New Mexico
    • Answer Mine where just the color I thought they were. They are that light brown. Pants are great. If its a little cold out the rivets are a little cold on your leg. lol

  • Question “Do these shrink when after being washed and dried?”
Asked on 1/6/2014 8:05:47 AM by Jackson from Washington
    • Answer Yes. They shrink noticeably if dried by machine. Hanging to dry is a better option.

  • Question “Are these relaxed fit?”
Asked on 11/12/2013 9:50:46 AM by Chyann from WA
    • Answer This item is a Dungaree fit, which is Carhartt's roomiest fit. The Carhartt relaxed fit is their second most snug.

    • Answer There is not much of a difference.

    • Answer The duck is a different fabric.
Answered on 3/22/2012 12:00:00 AM by Brett from Milwaukee, WI
    • Answer Yes. The Duck is a heavier material, almost twice the thickness of the washed dungarees. The Duck pants are more suitable for heavy work, while the dungarees are more of a casual or summer pant, same style, different durability.
Answered on 5/2/2012 12:00:00 AM by JFWH from Portland, OR
    • Answer I thought that dungaree had the bit over your stomach
Answered on 5/29/2012 12:00:00 AM by build 4 you from New zealand
    • Answer Washed is softer, and fits about a half size larger. They are the same weight, and the same cut otherwise
