Overall a very nice suit for the money. I am tall and thin and the suit fit well in the shoulders but is a very generous cut throughout. Great fabric although no Loro Piana label as others have mentioned.

I've tried on and bought many Jack Victor jackets and suits. They usually fit me well and have pleasing fabrics. This one was like other Jack Victor products in that it was well constructed and had nice details. I happen to like the method used here carrying the outside material fabric inside the jacket with a shaped strip that supports the large interior pocket openings - I think that's a cool look, and it adds to the pleasure of wearing the jacket even if I'm the only one to see it.
Even though the fit was pretty good, this one just didn't do it for me. I wasn't that taken with the look of the fabric. It was pretty nice, but I decided it wasn't the jacket that would force me to try to shoehorn another striped charcoal suit into my closet. One thing that bothered me was that I ordered it largely on the basis and reputation of the Loro Piana label. This suit came with no labeling that indicated it was Loro Piana fabric, and was in fact labeled for JV's Studio line. The overall quality of the fabric didn't seem to rise to the level of most LP fabrics I've seen, so I've wondered if this is mis-advertised? Whether it was or wasn't, I passed and sent it back. This gives me the opportunity to offer my total satisfaction with Sierra's return policy and procedures. Sierra definitely has outstanding values on brand-name stuff I want. But its the fact that I have total confidence in my ability to get satisfaction with my orders that cements my longstanding relationship with Sierra.
