As good as ones I have spent a lot more money on.

I went mountain biking with this for one day, and got pretty bad saddle rash. This had never happened with any other shorts on that bike, I think it was because the padding was no good

I'm relatively new to road cycling and bought the Veloce shorts along with the Canari Vortex. The Vortex are far superior in my opinion and well worth the additional cost. The padding is thinker, but stiff and doesn't conform too well to your body. Too many rough seems near delicate body parts is never a good thing. The fit is otherwise good, but the material is a bit thin. Not a problem for me given I wear shorts over them. My advice.... Pay the extra money and get the Vortex.

Ordered a large size and it was right on. The fit is comfortable and the padding is placed correctly and the thickness is not bulky.

I typically wear a 32 - 34. I purchased a pair of these, size L, but I wish I had gotten the M. The fit is loose through the waist and leg. Otherwise, I see no issues with these shorts.

I have bought 3 pair of these. They are a really good value. They don't have a lot of padding so they probably wouldn't be great for a really long ride but they are perfect for a sprint triathlon or shorter (30 mile?) ride. They do run a little large so I would recommend ordering a size smaller than you usually do. I usually wear a large but found that the medium fits me a little better.
