I bought this to use as a dry bag for kayaking/camping trips. It's as large as advertised, fitting my sleeping bag and clothing inside with a bit of coaxing. Even when my kayak made an unfortunate spill into the water, the dry bag kept the contents nice and dry.

bag is excellent no leaks during last canoe and camping trip the rolled and then snap bag seal is great as long as you roll it 3 times. Important not to over fill. We clipped them to one of the canoe struts to keep them upright worked wonderfully! The large fits my 2 person back packing tent, big agnes Sleeping matt, and sleeping bag liner. Not much room for much else.

Negative: bags are stiff, do not stretch, smell like neoprene (hint put dryer sheets in them so your stuff doesn't smell), difficult to compact down if using for back packing.

I also own the XLG: fits normal 4-6 person tent with some other stuff OR fits back packing tent (2 person), big agnes sleeping matt x 2 SQSL, atleast 1 compressed sleeping bag.

Also have a medium: good for littler things compressed down sleeping bag just barely meets width on this one but it does fit sleeping matts clothes and other odds and ends quite well.

I bought a small Seattle Sports waterproof dry bag several years ago from STP. I had a down throw blanket stored inside the dry bag in case of an emergency. It remained on the floor in the passenger area of my truck getting stomped on. The dry bag kept it's shape and the down throw blanket is as good as new. I bought two large dry bags to store two sleeping bags in one and camping pillows in the second. I store all the dry bags in a Tag-Along trailer that I pull behind my truck that I use for camping. The trailer is enclosed with a plastic shell that repels rain, but to be shure things stay dry I use the dry bags.

I like these bags for throwing in the canoe. Depends what size you need. This was perfect for me.

Took this along with a couple other dry bags on my recent caribou hunt in Alaska. It worked great and withstood the elements!!

Good quality dry bag. This dry bag does seem to be pretty tough. It works great being completely submerged for short periods of time (5-minutes so far) and of course it repels water as well. This is my 2nd Seattle Sports dry bag and I am happy with them both.
