Reviewed by Michelle the Camper from WNC on Wednesday, November 21, 2012These pants were a closeout, so not all sizes were available. I wear a size 4, but ordered size 8 because they were in stock. Turns out they fit great! However, if I usually wore a size 8 and ordered these, I don't think they would have fit. They feel great so far, but I will wear them out in the cold for the first time this weekend. I'm confident they will perform well.

Reviewed by mom of three from trumbull ct on Tuesday, January 04, 2011my daughter usually wears a 1 or 2 in jeans - i ordered a 4 and she could not even squeeze into it so i had my younger daughter try - she is a childrens 16 and she could barely squeeze into the pants - they will be returned will check for larger size.

Answer No we would not recommend these for flooding conditions. What would best suit her needs would be waders and/or a rain suit. I.E. Frogg Toggs Sweet T Classic Rain Suit-Item #2526F
