I thought that because the brand is Sorel, the quality would be better. However, after just two weeks, the "fur" inside is already coming out in pieces -- and I am finding clumps around the house. The construction in terms of the top being sewn to the insole seems solid and the styling is nice. However, slippers without their cozy lining aren't very comfortable in my experience. I wouldn't buy Sorel slippers again. My son chose them himself because he didn't like the styling of the brand I regularly buy; however, in the future, I am going to really try to push him to get that brand.

I purchased these for my 13 yr old daughter. She didn't like the style of them. I guess she would go for Roxy or some other flashy brand. Her loss. I sent her size back and purchased a pair for me - a gift to me! I usually wear a 8.5-9 women and the 7 youth fits great! They are a bit wide as I have narrow feet, but boy are they warm. We are experiencing our 3rd winter without a furnace and our tile floors get really cold. Not a problem with these on though! I suggested ST also post these in wormen's as the larger youth sizes fit women's feet with no problem. Since the color can also be for a boy, I think these would be great for a teenage boy. I don't know what the youth to man size conversion is though.
