Ordered large, returned; then medium and returned. Weird fit in large. Medium fit well (I'm 6'2" and 180 Lbs), but I realized the style wasnt as appealing as the picture suggested, so I returned. Just OK; not comparable to better brands.

I bought this coat as my primary winter coat for travel to work, out on the town, etc. The style is semi-traditional but with a few modern touches that works well for what the coat is used for. The workmanship is excellent, good sewing and attention to detail. The zipper is excellent and far superior to anything I typically find on jackets. The leather trim is of high quality. Although not waterproof like gortex, the wax oil applied to the coat holds up well in short walks in heavy rain and snow. I live in upstate NY where winter temperatures get down to zero during the coldest weather but usually its around 20-40. Quite a bit of snow, averaging around 100 inches. The jacket works well in this temperature range, usually not necessary to wear another layer but on the really cold days you will need to. The jacket size I think is a bit large, still fits well and since winter usually involves extra clothing, it hasn't been an issue. Overall, I definitely recommend the jacket. Its just a very nice jacket with excellent quailty in workmanship and materials.

A handsome car-coat length garment, not nylon or down filled (like the other one from andrew marc I bought at STP and like on its own merits w/coyote fur trim) but a nice brown fabric treated to be water resistant. Comfortable, stylish, warm, and good-looking - not to mention practical and with removable hood. It's not too heavy nor bulky, and with a sweater underneath, I imagine it will be plenty warm for the Santa Fe winters - and impervious to some snow, melted snow, or even a bit of rain and fog. Thank you, STP for the discounts and great service!

My first review, hopefully it can help someone.Things that are great about it:it is very well made, feels warm, leather trim on the edges is a good addition, fur trim on the hood is high quality and looks great.Things aren't so great about it:material is ok,but for the same price you could get some other coat by Andrew Marc made of leather...more durable. Not enough warmth for cold WI winters.I usually wear size 48-50 and ordered this parka in size M.It felt a little bulky.
