Reviewed by The Flash from New york on Thursday, August 02, 2012After one year of wrong weather reports I through the product away. It would be raining outside, yet the forecast would be sunny. This and the reverse happen frequently. Even if you check back hours later, It still shows the same , wrong, forecast.

If you want weather for multiple locations it does require a subscription. I only use the one included location so I did not sign up for the subscription. Setting up the internet connection was a little challenging but was able to get it connected after 1 day.

Would have liked a closer "home" location to set it too. Fun and easy to use. Premium features have to subscribe for an additional fee but are not essential.

Answer You pick a location (from the weatherdirect.com website) when you set up your display. The weather from that location then is the only one displayed.

Answer This product states that there is no WiFi installation necessary, meaning that it will set up on it's own. An outdoor sensor is included with the hardwear to mount it. This does not show rainfall total as there would need to be a device to measure that and there is not. It will need to stay connected to the internet to receive forecasts, which is the function of the internet. Answer The sensor is included. You do not have to leave the computer on, it just has to be able to access a wireless signal.
