Inexpensive way to get some super strong sharp kitchen shears. I am not sure why they come with a paring knife, but who doesn't need another nice sharp paring knife?

Both items are a little bit small. Quality is great. Knife is very sharp. Like it.

I have Wusthof knives already and saw this set and for so cheap I figured I'd add to my collection. Both the knife and the scissors are super sharp and very handy. Love that I chose to purchase these!

I have two wooden blocks full of knives on my granite counter with German made items which I have used continuously for 15 years. The kitchen shear handle had broken long ago and I've been gorilla glueing ever since. Finally I added this pair to my basket and for the life of me I don't know why it took so long. The scissors are awesome and have cut everything from chicken breasts to flower stems. The pairing knife has helped dice delicate peaches in one swipe without any effort. Well worth every cent. I should have bought a few for gifts!

I bought this set about six months ago. I really needed the scissors and figured at the price the knife would be a good idea, too. That knife is my main paring knife, with a much thinner, sharper blade than my other (very expensive brand) one. It is extremely sharp and does a great job. I?ve been disappointed by a lot of knives, but this one I?m delighted with on a daily basis! The scissors are great, too, incidentally. I may buy another set ....

    • Answer They are in a small pasteboard box with plastic molding around them to keep them in place and probably to protect them from being damaged. The shears and knife are displayed from the front as they would be in a kitchen store.

    • Answer They are in the white plastic mold and inside a flat white and blue box with description. The box is neat but small.

  • Question “Is the paring knife forged or stamped?”
Asked on 6/6/2010 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer This knife is stamped according to Wusthof.
Answered on 6/8/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer Wusthof makes several lines of knives. The Gourmet line is at the lower end. That being said, these are still Wusthof knives. Not professional chef quality, to be sure, but fine for most home cooks.
Answered on 6/10/2010 12:00:00 AM by Deb from Cleveland, OH
    • Answer According to the Wustof website, their Gourmet line is stamped, not forged. We already threw away the box, so I don't know what it said.
