I play in several sommunity sports team and prefer to just leave my stuff in the car, no search for it each evening. This little bag easily holds, a spare tshirt, soccer cleats, softball glove, frisbee, shinpads, soccer ball, water bottle, and a few pairs of socks without being overly packed. good quality material, great double stiching. If it makes it through the summer 4 games a week then you know it'll last a life a time. Will update if it doesn't make it.

Also there is just the one side pocket but it's a good size, I've shoved my two spare shirts in there (for the days we play a team with a similar color and switch to white) that way they're clean and don't smell like my cleets.... I usually bring a wristlet or burse to the game so I don't need any other interior pockets but I could see why you'd want some if you needed to put personal care items or your keys somewhere.

There are lots of straps/handles/connector velcro on this bag, which I like because it keeps it's shape and you can carry it in about 10 different ways. I often have a dog with me so it gives me a place to tie her leash and I means I can be as handsfree as need be. or rearrange how I carry the bag while I've got 45 lbs of energy.

Is a little smaller than I would like it to be, but the bag is overall good and sturdy, will be a great gym bag!

  • Question “If I were asked to check this bag at the gate, is it tough enough to withstand baggage handlers etc?”
Asked on 7/20/2014 7:38:09 AM by Trainspotter from Tennessee
    • Answer I would tend to error on the side of caution and say no. In a pinch sure but not on a regular basis, the fabric is just not that sturdy.
Great bag for summer camp and gymnastics practice but not ready for baggage handlers.

    • Answer Yes. I've had this bag since the beginning of June and use it as my sports bag (just community sports so it's small-ish).
It's been thrown in my car, on the ground, dragged across fields, etc. and held up just fine. the material isn't soft, it's rough and takes a beating. the strap are padded and there are several handles which makes it easy to grab and transport. also the two main handles velco together which should provide additional support.

Now I say it's small-ish, don't let me ocnvince you it's too small for you needs, here's what I have in it today:
1 pair ofs hin guards, one pair of cleets (size 9 women's), two spare shirt, 2 pairs normal socks, 2 pairs soccer socks, small bowl for dog, and small tupper ware of treats for her, soccer ball, softball glove, water bottle, sunglasses, wallet and keys. It's no stuffed, but it also doesn't have too much room left in there. It would work well for a weekend trip. Hope this helps!
