I love these shorts! I had bought them in small and wish I had checked the Born Fit website before I ordered because they said they recommended sizing down as they run big. I bought the extra small and they are perfect in every way, 5'9" and 132 lbs. for comparison in sizing.

I wear these to teach my Jazzercise class when it's super-hot; also to just hang out on a hot day; could run in them but have not done so yet. They are hip-hugging so I like a longer tank with them. Look good and got a few positive comments.

These shorts are very soft, almost like a chamois. I got a small and they fit nicely. The pocket on the side is a little strange as it is more in back however, it can be useful and it doesn't take away from the look of the shorts. I like the fold down waist band.

Born Fit markets maternity apparel for both pregnancy and non-maternity but the clothing is the same cut either way so keep in mind if you buy these shorts **you are buying maternity shorts**. You can see photos on the Born Fit website of this top on both a pregnant model and non-pregnant model. (The size chart reccommends ordering down a size for non-maternity). I discovered Born Fit with my 4th pregnancy. I am no longer pregnant and even though I have returned to my pre-pregnancy size, I still wear some of my Born Fit clothing so I thought I would give these Bermudas a try, along with the Born Fit Betty tee. Unfortunately both items fit like true maternity. Maybe it is because I am an XS and cannot order a size down. There is no way these would stay-up on my hips standing still, let alone while doing something active. I am a size 2/4 for reference. Bet they would've been cute during pregnancy, though!
