These sandals feel like sneakers, they were comfortable right out of the box. I've walked over 4 miles in them at one time and they were just as comfortable as sneakers. I bought these shoes a week before my trip to Vancouver, B.C and Seattle and was worried that I had to break them in--No need. They were extremely comfortable and very cute. I walked and biked all day in these shoes!

I like that these Teva sandals have straps adjustable both around the ankle and across the foot--that makes it easy to fit my feet which are different in width. I wear 6 and the Tirra is true to size. I bought the red which is a true red, not orangey red, and they go well with practically everything that I ordinarily wear with black sandals. The thinner straps give the sandals a toned-down sports look which is also nice. The soles are as comfortable as my other Tevas, but I think the arch may not be as pronounced. For pronounced arch support in this type of sandal I get Chacos, but I prefer adjusting the fit with Velcro which my Chacos don't have. If Teva made Velcro-adjusting sandals with Chaco's arch support, I would give them tens in ratings.

In my opinion the Flintstone color is a light purple color.

If you are referring the the "flintstone" color, it is definitely blue, like faded jeans.

My Teva sport sandal is blue - much lighter than the picture online.

Both! The actual straps are more lavender, but they're edged in light blue. So from a distance the overall effect is "periwinkle," which is a blue-purple blend. They don't look two-toned until you're really close, it's not distracting.
