I've been a huge fan of acorn slippers for a long time. The hard bottom allows you to wear them outside, which is great when you want to run out for the mail or something. my daughter kept stealing my slippers to wear, even though they were too big for her. Her feet are finally big enough that the smalls are the perfect size for her. She wears a size 4 kid which is the equivalent to a women's size 5-6. She is in love with her new slippers.

I wasn't sure it was a good idea to buy slippers online because I couldn't try them on and would have to pay shipping to return them. I am so glad I did. These slippers are super comfortable and warm. The soles have fairly good support, too. I'm so glad I didn't listen to my gut this time!
I have high arches and I find these to be very comfortable. They don't specifically have supports, but the contoured footbed gives more support than any other slippers I've tried. I usually just wear them around the house and for that they are fantastic. If it's summer I wear Chaco flip flops instead.
They did seem a bit short at first, but the top quickly stretched a little to fit my foot. I usually wear a 7 or 71/2 and the 6 1/2-7 1/2 size fits well. Hope this helps!

The foot bed feels like memory foam. I have had a different brand pair with memory foam footbeds for about 8 years and wear them daily. Although I line them with a slip in leather insole, the foam beneath is in remarkable condition, showing no signs of breakdown or change in comfort. My leather uppers are showing more signs of wear than the foam footbed.
