I got this pack to carry water for myself and my dog for daily walks in hot weather.

Holds a 20oz water bottle in each side pocket.

Holds 2 Quart bottles (frozen) in main pack. I attach another Quart to the front of the belt to balance the weight in the back.

    Well made bag that has many compartments. Can where it various ways. I like to wear it like a sling with the bag across my back for support, along with the waist belt if the bag is loaded, for added support. It would be perfect if it could fit my Ipad, but just a tad short.

    • Answer You can certainly squeeze them in, but a better way is to replace those two with regular 500ml spring water bottles, then fits a few more inside the pack, probably up to 10. But it won't stay well when that heavy. For casual day hikes only.

    • Answer I just posted a review: it CANNOT accommodate anything larger than the two 500ml bottles it comes with. It limits its versatility greatly regarding those side pockets...
