Roomy but light weight enough to take backpacking. Pack small if you use a compression sack. Comes with a nice large storage bag.

Originally I bought a different Marmot bag but found the mummy style to be so narrow that it was claustrophobic. I also realized that a 15 degree mummy bag is way too hot for summer camping The Bridger is so light, yet comy, plenty of room for tossing and turning, and not too hot. The only downside is the lack of mummy hood for those who like a little more protection in chillier weather. I realize I prefer the semi-rectangular style to the mummy style, and so I'm very happy with the Bridger.

Great value! Perfect for warmer weather or second bag. Plenty of room in the foot box I put my 20 deg bag inside this one to get me close to 0 deg. I can bring one or the other or both, depending on the weather.

This is one of the sleeping bags that we have on hand to provide sleeping arrangements for a college sailing team. It fits all sizes of sailors and is used primarily inside or in a tent. no complaints so far!

We got this for our 14 yo for camping. She liked that it zipped open and can be used for other things, e.g., sleeping over. The color was very nice and the quality is obvious. It packs down very small in case we do any backpacking. The storage bag & pack sack are good to have.

  • Question “I am 6'3" tall and wondered if this bag would be suitable for me, thanks.”
Asked on 9/9/2012 12:00:00 AM by ed03 from Australia
    • Answer The bag is 6.5' long, so it should be suitable for you. Have a great day!
Answered on 9/11/2012 12:00:00 AM by Prod.Spec. Ryan from Sierra Trading Post
  • Question “How large is this sleeping bag? Would it work as an over-bag? I have a ~zero-degree down right now (Marmot, Never Summer, Long), but will be traveling where they recommend a -20 bag a few of the nights (Everest Base Camp). I've seen other 'over bags' that double as 40 degree sleeping bags.”
Asked on 8/15/2012 12:00:00 AM by Dave from Minneapolis, MN
  • Question “Does this bag unzip all the way to form a quilt? Do two zip together?”
Asked on 7/17/2011 12:00:00 AM by Agate Bay from Bellingham, WA
    • Answer The zipper goes all the way around the bottom to allow it to open. You can mate this bag with another.

  • Question “Zipper-- Is the zipper full length so the bag can open out like a quilt?”
Asked on 7/3/2011 12:00:00 AM by Agatebay from Bellingham, WA
    • Answer The zipper goes all the way around the bottom to allow it to open.

  • Question “I need to know if the zipper is 1 continuous zipper down the side and along the bottom to allow for mating with the Marmot Windriver (older style with continuous zipper) I know Marmot has started putting zippers down each side or have a dual zipper set up with a separate zipper for opening the foot box - which makes it impossible to mate with another bag.”
Asked on 6/20/2011 12:00:00 AM by paknpadl from Ontario
    • Answer The zipper goes all the way around the bottom. You can still mate 3/4 zip bags, each bag will just have it's own foot space.

  • Question “I wonder about the inside material and feeling of this sleeping bag.”
Asked on 6/3/2011 12:00:00 AM by Ute from Unknown
    • Answer It has a nylon lining and if you want you can always get a liner to place in it for warmth or to act as a sheet of sorts.
