This is just another great product from Marmot. What sets this jacket apart is the gusseted sleeves and material. Its breathable and somewhat warm for what it is. REMEMBER: this is a jacket meant for aerobic activities! IT IS THIN FOR A SOFTSHELL. Don't buy this jacket expecting something for casual... Read More

This jacket is well made and does what it's designed to do very well. It's a tad heavier than I thought it would be, but I'm probably being too picky.

    • Answer The lining is not a windproof lining, but the jacket is fairly wind resistant.

  • Question “Does this jacket have a lining?”
Asked on 6/26/2011 12:00:00 AM by tml from midwest

    • Answer no lining.

    • Answer No lining, really quite light...more like a windbreaker.
Answered on 8/4/2011 12:00:00 AM by Paetrix from Middle Border, IL
    • Answer No lining, it is a relatively thin, stretchy material, but feels like it would be pretty abrasion resistant, w/DWR coating.

    • Answer It's got a sewn in lining (of sorts) on the front of the jacket, but it dosen't add warmth. This windbreaker is very lightweight and breathable- the company considers it an outer layer, but I like to use it as a light jacket when I need just a little more warmth than a long sleeved shirt would supply. It isn't nearly as warm as a traditional soft shell.

    • Answer No lining just a good softshell for spring/fall or layering.
Answered on 4/10/2012 12:00:00 AM by William from Athens, GA
    • Answer It is not a waterproof jacket, but soft shells will shed some water.
