This is a great casual jacket. I bought it in Khaki last year from another retailer. Saw it here in Navy at a great closeout price too good to pass up.
I tried on as soon as the box arrived. Even though it is clearly labeled as a regular, It is clearly a LONG!!
I am really bummed out about this. It has been awhile since I had purchased from Sierra Trading Post, but I have always had great results in the past. This time, both the items that I purchased need to be returned due to no fault of my own. My shipping costs should be refunded, since I didn't receive what I ordered.

I am a fan of the Bill's Khaki's line. However, they don't seem to know how to make sport coats. The coat fits well in the shoulders and chest, but it "balloons out" beginning at the waist and into the hips. The tail on this coat is determined to stick out. I have spent well over $50 trying to get this corrected by my tailor (military w/50+ years of experience). It's been into the shop 2X. I would return it, if not for the alterations. Too late now.

I really wanted this to be the 'go to' sport coat, but unfortunately is wasn't. I purchased the M/L (40/42), as I'm usually a 41/42 regular at 6' 175 lbs. This one felt more like a 44, not form fitting to my body. (Like I was wearing Daddy's jacket) - my wife's comment. Nothing wrong w/ the substantial cotton twill material (usual Bills quality), but aside from the sizing, its a very casual piece. It wrinkles easily and just not what I was looking for. I needed a summer wool, but thought I'd try the Chamois cloth. Not crisp enough for my needs.
I would recommend this if 'casual' is what you're going for - and...size down.
Question
“Hello, can you please tell me more about the size of this product? 40-42 is inadequate information. How about actual chest and shoulder measurements?|Thanks!|tripp”
