Light (almost no) extra cushioning, yet still comfortable due to Merino wool. The weave doesn't seem quite as "tight" as a Smart Wool sock but still quite comfy. I'd buy it again. Should be fine for mild climates.

These are great. They run a bit small, which is why I only gave 4 stars. They're also thinner than other Goodhews, but they work well for what I want them for. The material is good quality.

Love these socks! I always have trouble with socks wearing out in the big toe area, but not Goodhews!

These socks felt so good on my recent backpacking trip. My feet get very hot, so these were light enough to help keep me cooler.

Don't love the brand name on the toes but otherwise nice socks.

  • Question “Is this wool sock adapted to hot weather?”

Asked on 4/13/2014 2:21:12 AM by hike beginner ASDF from Delaware
    • Answer yes it does. I found that if you wear crocodile shoe it not comfortable to wear wool sock.
Answered on 4/13/2014 7:32:54 AM by Happy feet from iowa
    • Answer It is a lightweight wool sock, with just a little cushioning on the foot bottom. It helps wick away moisture. I would say it's perfect for a spring or summer hike.
