I am 5'10 and the sleeves are a bit long but I think that is typical for a large size. The "Duffel" color is green, which I didn't expect. I expected something a bit more grey, but the green is subdued.

The torso is a bit long for a medium, reaching just to the tip of the crotch on my blue-jeans, which is why I selected "feels too long" (when I wear it under my hardshell or my leather jacket, the sweater peaks out about 3-5 inches), but I actually like the extra length, its cozy.
Who's to say whats "too long", Im about 6', but I'm fairly slim (180lbs) so I don't usually expect a medium shirt or jacket to go much lower that my waist.
This sweater would be great for tall people who don't need a large but have to go large for length. But if your on the shorter side, less than 5'6" or so, it might fit more like a skirt, impeding on the thighs. Like I said though, I like the fit.
I wear this sweater all the time, its great and breaths like a champ over a t-shirt for 50s-60s weather, and over a long sleeve merino shirt, this sweater is a light and toasty top-layer for the low50s and 40s.
It can also insulate very well in colder weather. I compared it to my 200wt. poly fleece when it just under 30 degrees by trying each one on top of a basic poly t-shirt with my hardshell on top of each of them: the fleece was just a bit warmer initially, but after a couple minutes this sweater had me just as toasty as the fleece, but without the bulk (of course, if the temp gets much lower than 20-25, the fleece would probably be preferable) .
The hood is a big plus as well, especially because it zips up all the way to the tip of the hood, allowing you to zip it up to your neck, or over your face like a gaiter for maximum warmth.
This sweater is my go-to hoody/insulation/top-layer, for pretty much any weather between 20-65 degrees F.
Oh and it also can roll up into its own hood when I want to dump some heat, which is not an unusual ability for hooded items, but with the hood drawstring I was surprised at how compact I could get this fluffy merino sweater. It got down to the size of a college football, easy to tuck into a bag or under my arm while I cool off.

Very comfortable, good craftmanship, and looks great. Thin enough that it can be used as a light overlayer on a cool evening, but seems to be well insulated anyway, so I'll try it in the winter as well. The arms were just a bit short, but I am 6'3 tall, so it may better fit a person with shorter arms. I like that it is lightweight and made of partly recycled materials - good wool content (40% - 20% new and 20% recycled), the rest is synthetic, which is good for being in the great outdoors. The hood is really funny as you can zip it up completely over your face - it will completely cut off breathing and sight if you do this, so it's a useless function. Overall I'm very pleased with this product.

It's comfy, but not as much as pure merino wool clothing, but it's a bit thicker and I'm not as paranoid about damaging it either. Great to take on a hike on a chilly day, and it breathes well and will still be comfy even when it starts to warmup.

The hood is nice and streamlined, and the zipper runs all the way up the forehead! Together, this lets you get the hood to stay in place, and it also doesn't block peripheral vision.

Love this sweater, it's my go-to item for 55F-70F weather!
