My daughters ages 11 & 13 both have size large. The pants are the perfect length for them (they are 5'2" and under). My 13yo usually wears a misses size 0-2 and my 11yo wears youth size 14.

These pants are constructed well. However, they run quite long and they run especially wide.

These are great pants to snow tube, ski or even shovel snow in. They're a little bulky but that's to be expected from snow pants. They're comfortable and light. I like the way they have the elastic bottom to keep the snow out as well.

Originally purchased these for my daughter for a ski trip. We ended up getting a large snow storm & she was ready to use them to play in the snow. As she unsnaps the waistband to put them on, the rivet ripped apart. We improvised & used an old belt to keep the waist together. They kept her warm, but snow kept getting into the waist area because the pants weren't tight enough.

My daughter had not complaints of cold legs while she plays in the snow wearing them.
