I purchased some of these last year for stocking suffers for Christmas and purchased more again this year for people who have used my knife and had good comments on this knife. Very sharp blade, we use for camping. Excellent quality for the price!

This is an excellent knife. It is sharp, The thumb post works fine to open the blade one handed. The knife itself fits well in my pocket or on my belt. It is a lot of knife for the money.

Very solid knife at the price. Good, utile cutter, trimming limbs, bamboo, whittling etc. I buy these for my students to use in outdoor education situations. Cheap enough and sturdy enough to let a younger person use. Good knife for tool kit, emergency kit.

The quality you would expect from Boker at an incredible price. Large for a daily carry but well-built w/strong pivot joint.

    • Answer This knife has a safety clip, if you look there is a metal piece below the blade that you push to release the blade.

    • Answer Aloha Nilda....look at the base of the sharp edge of the blade of your knife - there is a metal piece that has little scallops on it that locks the blade open. Hold the knife in your right hand with the blade up and press that little lock to the left with your thumb nail and GENTLY push the blade down - be CAREFUL not to push the blade hard or you will cut yourself!

    • Answer At the first finger grip (closest to the blade) push the grooved metal towards the clip and close.

    • Answer There's a tab in the handle. Carefully press the tab down and bend the blade closed. You can locate the tab by holding the knife vertically with the length of the blade facing you, at arms length. In the cavity where the blade closes into, there's a bar that's angled slightly - this is the lock mechanism. move the bar so that the blade can move past it into the cavity. Be careful not to cut your self.

    • Answer Watch my video...but see the notched looking part up against the knife blade when it's open? That moves over to hold the blade in place when "clicked" open. So with your fingernail, push that part towards the outside, hold, and push the blade back in. It takes a little practice to get it down with one hand.

    • Answer Push the linerlock (thin piece of steel inside the knife body) to the side. This will allow the blade to close. The linerlock actual moves under the blade pivot when you open the knife to lock it in place.

    • Answer There is a tab in the slot that the blade rests in when it is closed, you have to push it to one side and then you can close the blade.
