Bought the product for a kayak trip to replace an older wool/silk blend pair I'd worn out after years of winter use in Alaska. Very happy with the product. The length might be a problem for some. I am only 5'2" and found them adequately long and not too long.

Wore this pair of base layers one time, washed them once, and the next time I put them on I noticed the entire back seam had split open. Normally I purchase Smartwool and should have stuck to their brand. Never again will I be buying this brand, obviously it was cheaper for a reason. Waste of money!!!

I am buying this Terramar Woolskins Merino Bottoms about every other year since 2007. At first I liked the warmth and natural feel against the skin. But lately though they last better (no holes), they have become thinner and bigger (but may be short). Now size S is like M. Even more - now they give static discharge..Need to look for another brand, alas...
If you hover over the "Available sizes" a tap will appear and provide you with the correct numeric sizing. The fit on the Terramar Woolskins Merino Wool Bottoms is going to be a trim fit.

Yes, they are low rise! I didn't like the fit and am exchanging the M for size L, hoping that will make the rise more comfortable. I want to wear these as around-the-house pjs and don't want them to be low cut. The fabric is gorgeous quality -- very smooth & silky.
