Lightweight and warm -- and the raisin shade is a good match with SmartWool NTS Midweight Pattern Base Layer Top - Merino Wool, Crew Neck, Long Sleeve (For Women) - the Smartwool bottoms are all gone. Washed well the first time. If it wears like the Smartwood top, I’ll be a very happy and cozy girl.

Love these, the elastic at the waist is a couple inches bigger than the previous pair I ordered so they are way more comfortable.

I need to keep my knees warm for health reasons. These are the most comfortable and warm but non-itchy leggings I've found so far. I don't know yet how long they'll last, as I got them a week ago.

I not only use my underwear for skiing, fishing, and wear to work on cold days. It's very comfortable and lightweight enough you can wear them easily under slacks as well as levi's.

I purchased them in black and liked them so much I went back to get them in purple as well. They have kept me warm through two winters now, and are still going strong! I like the fit--the lower rise fits nicely under jeans. They are soft and warm and not bulky at all. I also like to sleep in them on their own or under flannel pjs that aren't snug enough in the leg to keep cold drafts out. I did find that the black pair were slightly thicker and warmer and also more durable--they snap right back into shape after washing, and still look new, while the purple ones are starting to get a little thinner and lose some elasticity...but they are still warm & cozy and have at least another year of wear left in them. I do wash them in cold water on a delicate cycle and hang them to dry. I have worn them a lot and have definitely gotten my money's worth! I would not hesitate to purchase again.
