I can't even tell I'm wearing these, they are so light weight and easy to wear. Great traction and durability.

The manufacturing process of installing rivets to fasten the material to the structure damages the material - at pretty much every rivet location. Probably will not impact the life of the product, but we'll see.

up and down wheat field hills. These have limited amount surface area, so do not float all that well if snow is deep and variable. overall they do work well

Went snow shoeing for the first time in the Sierras with these. I had no problem adjusting to wearing them. In fact, they were so unobtrusive, I forgot I had them on (until I had to turn - can't move when one foot is on top of the other's snow shoe!). I have a new winter hobby!
