Tested these out in Mount Rainier National Park on a couple snow covered day hikes. They stayed on my feet the whole time without the straps loosening or needing to be adjusted, which hasn't been the case with others I have worn. Worked great on both flat stretches and with elevation gain.

These snowshoes sure kick up a lot of snow and they don't stay on my feet! I was surprised to find that there was no clasp or anything to keep any of the ties in a stable position so after a few attempts, I gave up and waded through the snow in just my boots which was a lot quicker and less time consuming than walking in these snowshoes as they kept loosening, falling off and kicking up gobs of snow. I have borrowed many excellent snowshoes in the past to climb mountains and go across snow covered valleys in similar powder conditions, but these just don't do many any good. Thus, I am returning them for a more functional product.

These are lightweight snowshoes best used for relatively easy, short treks through moderate snow.

I purchased this product to donate as a prize for a local Volunteer Fire Department event. I have the same pair that I purchased 2 years ago for myself, use almost daily in the winter, and LOVE! They are so durable and light. Highly recommend them.
