So I have a few pairs of these in black I use to walk the dog. Thick, warm, great tucked into boots. Ordered 3 more in black and 2 in purple. Purple were the same, the black ones were very cheaply made, not at all the same product as previous order. These new ones are see thru! Checked the specs and...

These are tights that I can wear with a skirt and still be warm. They are really cute and feel comfortable too. I should wear a small but I usually buy a medium with tights-maybe because my legs aren't super skinny? In other words I am between sizes with tights and the mediums are usually too long and bunch up. These don't do that because they are shorter than most mediums. The waist is also at my waist so they stay up. These are great for me.

These are great for the price. My only complaint is that they are a tiny bit short on me (5'-7"). The color is charcoal heather, not black, but I don't mind. The fit is a little loose, so if you want them to fit like leggings, I would recommend sizing down. They have enough rise (I like high rise pants) and the elastic in the waist is about right (unfortunately, for this price you don't get a more sophisticated, wide, "yoga" type waist band).

These are super warm. I ride my bike year-round in Chicago, and wearing these under jeans will keep me warm to about 20 degrees. They could be a bit stretchier, but once I have them on under pants, I don't notice.

I was surprised by how hefty these 'base layer' bottoms are when I saw them initially. I even thought about returning them but then the temperature dropped to zero so I thought I'd give 'em a try. They are super warm (too warm for inside for any amount of time) and kept my legs nice and toasty! They are very comfortable, too - no binding even though it's a close fit.
