My husband's always complaining his feet hurt but he hasn't complained in the days since he's been wearing these insoles.

size is right fit to regular shoes. it was lucky for both of us not to cut anything from the orginal. it feels rather firm and we didn't realize that it is placed....but... after hard walk (2-3 hr traking)... it made us feel gently firm and feels like to remove my knee pain. I am not sure as I didn't use the other insole but it works

This pair is replacing a pair I've had for 13 years - those are old, but still helpful for support. Great product.

I got custom fitted for these at REI when I lived in San Diego. I have arthritis and 3 herniated disks in my lower back, as well as flat, super wide feet for a woman (7.5 E). These insoles are in all my work boots and hiking boots. I have better posture and balance with these, as well as zero foot pain and I can stay on my feet comfortably for an unlimited period of time. These insoles are amazing. I highly recommend them. I had $700 custom made insoles, and quite frankly these do the job just as well. I have several pairs. They wear like iron, but after a couple of years of non-stop use they do get compressed a bit. I take a size D for a men's 7R boot if that gives you an idea on sizing. Do not worry about what one reviewer said about lack of padding. These are ergonomically designed, and feel amazing on. These are 2000% better than any gel pad or cushion...those just do not do the job. I just wish they made them for women's high heels!
