Closeouts. Swing for the fences in New Balance's 801 Mid baseball cleats. A foam-cushioned EVA midsole, foam-padded collar, and a reinforced drag tip mean your feet are both comfortable and protected.

Purchased these for my 15-year-old son who is a catcher, playing 80+ games per year. He likes the mid-height of these cleats, as they provide ankle support, and prevent the heel from slipping up and out of the shoe while crouching behind the plate.
The soles are made of durable, yet rigid, plastic, with metal spikes. His only complaint after wearing them several times is that they will take awhile to break in, as a result.
He has been wearing NB cleats for 10 years, because of the quality, comfort and durability. These are no exception!
