They are as advertised and I have enjoyed wearing them right out of the box. I wanted durable slippers that I could wear to the mailbox if I wanted to and not worry about the soles taking a beating. I also love how soft and cute they are. Overall I am very satisfied and glad I found them at Sierra Trading Post.

I was hoping I could just "slip" them on to run out to the wood pile and scuff around in. But it is effortful to get them on for this application. I was also not sure I would like the color of the pair I had to order due to them being the only ones in my size...whah-whah...I sent them back. But Smartwool is reliably great quality!

Answer It is recommended at machine wash in cold water and air dry; designed for mostly indoor use but can also go outside in dry weather for quick trips to the mail box or wood shed
