There are so many choices, prices and uses for backs so it is not reasonable to think you can choose one back and have it be good for all your activities. This one is very versatile. I normally don't write reviews. However, I'm so pleased with this pack that I wanted to share my input. I'm one of those folks who are NEVER satisfied. However, I can think of nothing negative to say about this item. It's roomy, easily adjustable and feels good, regardless of the weight I pack (outbound) or the burden I ask of it after picking up "stuff" during the day. The thing I like the best is this: I'm a old gal (67) who walks an average of 4-7 miles/day, but no matter how heavy this pack gets, its configuration and strapping selections allow me to adjust it in ways that make my burden easy.

    Thank you, Sierra!

    P. S. Thus far, I've found it to be virtually waterproof.

This is a nice backpack. My son is using it for a high school bookbag. He is somewhat picky but seems to love the pack.

I got a great deal on this backpack. Nice, medium sized, lightweight pack with plenty of space for a casual hike.

Great backpack, light weight and comfortable but smaller than I had hoped for.
