I love this coat. Its thin but warm. There is plenty of room through the shoulders without being bulky.

I ordered this because I was looking for an insulated ski jacket that wasn't overly bulky for the days when the lighter weight jackets are not enough. I like that it is longer to keep cold drafts at bay. The fabric is understatedly feminine. I wish the pit zips were full on - they are the short version, just along the body and not on to the arms. The storm hood is big enough to go over a helmet which is a big bonus. Wish it had the thumb holes in the cuff sleeve as those are nice for extra cold days to keep drafts out. Overall, it is a good jacket and I will keep it. This is my first experience with Karbon products so will see how it stands up to my old standards of North Face, Marmot, Patagonia.
