My second pair of Riviera pants, these are a slim fit for sure. The waist was spot on for me but they narrow down pretty slim at the ankle. Ok for me,but I am tall and the pants will work for me. The material is a lightweight cotton which looks very dressy and will work on its own for sure or with a sport coat or blazer and be very dressed up. Workmanship on these is very good and these will be one of my go to summer trousers.

The fabric is simply unbelievable for cotton; it actually has sheen. The cut is slim with a low rise; very modern and very clean. I'm fifty and these are my favs for work. The construction is first rate and they can be washed or dry cleaned. They have a tiny bit of shrinkage so have them tailored accordingly.

My tailor commented on the quality of the cotton in these pants as he pinned them for hemming. Indeed, he said the fabric was so glossy and elegant, he couldn't use chalk to mark them as it would slide right over without leaving a mark. Well tailored too, as usual from Canadian manufacturer Riviera.

No, these slacks don't have a permanent crease as they're not treated or wrinkle resistant. They breath like good cotton should. And they are however the nicest cotton slacks I've run into; take them to the dry cleaners and they'll keep the crease. You can take the crease out if you like... But the crease is not permanent.
