These look great but are made of what appears to be plastic. One of them came with the end broken off. It would have cost as much to ship it back as I paid for it so I super glued it back on.

I was excited about the price of the curtain rod and that it was a cool design. I opened the box that it had been shipped in and didn't even open the packaging because one of the ends had been broken off of the curtain rod. So I sent it back and decided to purchase a curtain rod in store so I could make sure it was not damaged.

Unfortunately, both set of rods had one finial broken when it arrived - no damage to the packaging, so not sure how it happened. Luckily I was using the rods in a bay window with elbow joints, so I only need to ends.
